Fitness: Break a Sweat in Style + Back Workout

Happy Monday :) Does anyone else feel like it is easier and more exciting to work out when you have a cute outfit to wear to the gym? I definitely do. Every time I need motivation to go, I grab a new pair of leggings, hat or wear some of my favorite colorful sneakers. My go-to look at the gym is usually black with a hint of color. Sometimes I like to wear the hint of color on my shoes, hat, top, or part of the leggings. Depends on the day and the time.

Black is usually a staple of mine at the gym, it makes my figure look slim. When I saw this set, I knew it would be a step out of my comfort zone because it wasn't black! I tried it on and it made my figure look slim like the color black does. Navy blue is a darker color so that's probably why. The material is fantastic too, really hugs the body nice. The green stripe on each side is a nice touch. Stripes on the sides also make the body appear thinner.

I picked it up at Victoria Sport. I was there to find a new white bra, but saw they were having a sale on sport! Top and bottom for $65, such a good deal for Victoria Secret. Normally just one pair of leggings is about that price. HERE is a link to some cute sport clothes on their website.

As for my workout, I targeted back muscles. It was fairly quick! Was at the gym for about 40 minutes. Exactly how I like it :)

  • 5 minute warm up to get my body heated.
  • 4 sets of 12 - Lat Pull Downs Wide Grip
  • 4 sets of 12 - Lat Pull Downs Close Grip
  • 4 sets of 10 - Rows
  • 5 sets of 12 - Lower Back Extensions
  • Stretched
